Funeral for Stephen Cross (Beaver)
 
Stephen’s funeral will be held on 8th May at 1.45 pm at Breakspear Crematorium, Ruislip, Middlesex HA4 7SJ in the West Chapel and afterwards at The Red Lion Hotel, Hillingdon, Royal Lane, Hillingdon, Uxbridge, Middlesex, UB8 3QP (a Fullers pub with rooms).
 
If you do not know the crematorium there are two chapels east and west and they are next door to each other. There is ample parking.
 
At the recent funeral for his mother it was family flowers only so I would suggest it would be the same at this one.
 

Sadly Stephen Cross, long-time associate member of the club, died on 3rd April 2026.

Whilst never technically a member of the club, as he never actually owned a bike, Stephen must have attended more club "events" than most members! He was always there with a pint, a smile and a laugh. His two great passions outside of his family were Black Sabbath and Monty Python.

We will miss you. 

Sadly Lee Elton, long-time associate member of the club, died on 12th April 2026.

Although, as a club, we had not really seen Lee for some time he did used to come to Devon in the heydays and attend the odd gathering here and there.

Welcome to the Freedom Riders MCC web site. The Freedom Riders MCC has long been disbanded, however the camaraderie and humour lives on, hopefully this web site will reunite former members and help keep those still "in the fold" keep in touch.

The site is just a bit of stupid fun really, rather like being in the club was...........a bit of stupid fun.
